Delafield Family Photographer | Ice Age Trail Session
It’s mid-February and I’m finally starting to realize how far behind I have gotten with blogging. To get back to it, I thought I’d share one of my all time favorite family sessions captured on the Ice Age Trail in Delafield this past summer!
This playful and light-drenched session was my third time capturing this sweet family. They live in London, England and spend a couple of weeks on holiday in the states each summer. Mom is from a small town in Wisconsin not far from where I live. They originally found me through a mutual friend!
Last time I photographed them, there were only two little girls. It was so fun to meet Miss Greta for the first time! It was especially sweet to see her interact with her big sisters. (Big sisters with the most adorable British accents!)
When planning the session, we wanted to choose a location that had beautiful light and also plan something fun to hold the girls’ attention. We chose the Ice Age Trail in Delafield because it is filled with wildflowers to smell and look at! I also brought along extra large bubbles for the girls to chase, although we quickly found they were quite messy and soapy when they popped! The girls’ sweet garden dresses and golden sunlight were the elements that helped make the session extra special.
