Best of 2019 Weddings, Part 1| Michelle Kujawski Photography

This is Part 1 of the Best of 2019 Weddings! (Click for Part 2 – Part 3 is coming soon!)

2019 was filled with so many beautiful weddings and moments! I may be biased, but the couples I work with are the absolute best! I am so incredibly grateful to be able to capture such a special time in their lives together.

Wedding photos will provide a lifetime of memories and it’s such an honor to be able to provide this service for couples and their families! Here is a summary of some of my favorite moments and details from the weddings that I captured in 2019!

Amber & Matt | The Covenant at Murray Mansion Wedding

You never know what kind of weather you are going to with a December wedding. Amber and Matt lucked out with a hazy, sun-filled 40 degree day, which is about as good as it gets! Along with beautiful light, I also loved the winter elements of Murray Manion’s holiday decor, the bride and bridesmaids’ faux furs, winter greenery, and the black & gold pallet.

Kelsey & Steve | The Covenant at Murray Mansion Wedding

A light and airy color pallet, floaty Hayley Paige wedding gown, green Tom Ford suit, cotton candy sky backdrop along Lake Michigan, photo ops with a sweet doggy wearing a floral collar…. Kelsey & Steve’s wedding was right up my alley! I must have captured at least 20 photos of Steve shaking up the champagne and popping it at the lakefront – so many laughs and so much fun!

Lauren & Joe | Horticultural Hall Wedding

Rain interrupted Lauren and Joe’s plans for an outdoor garden ceremony, but fortunately they were still able to share a sweet first look and do all of their portraits outside! The bubble umbrellas added a fairy tale feeling to their portraits. I also loved the florals and Lauren’s gown with it’s delicate velvet ribbon detail! Her burgundy velvet shoes and matching lip were just perfect for a early fall wedding day!

Haley & Nate | Barn at the Bog Wedding

This adorable couple had me smiling all day long! I am still obsessed with their gorgeous florals, silk ribbon and neutral color pallet. Although it was very windy, we were so happy that the rain held out long enough to do their first look and portraits outside! At the reception, the bride’s sister surprised the couple with a video of personal messages from their families! It was such a unique and personal touch that had everyone laughing and crying (happy tears, of course!)!

Charlotte & Vince | Discovery World Pavilion Wedding

When a large Italian family meets a large Irish family, you know the wedding is going to be a lively one! Charlotte and Vince kicked off the fun with a bubble exit on their way out of church and planned meaningful locations for their wedding portraits. As Marquette University graduates and Milwaukee dwellers, they wanted their portraits to have a city vibe (which I was more than happy to oblige!).

The aesthetic of the day was beyond beautiful – white bridesmaid dresses , colorful floral centerpieces designed by the brides mom and her friend, and a doggy in a custom suit were just a few of the highlights. I still laugh when I think about Charlotte playing “Dominick The Donkey” (the Italian Christmas donkey song!) on the party bus! The band was also an absolute blast and had everyone on the dance floor (and the bride & bridesmaids on the stage!)!
