Michael & Emilie’s Lake Ripley wedding was held on a sunny afternoon in August. The ceremony and reception were on the properties of both family and friends who came together for this special day. Having their wedding on Lake Ripley was extra meaningful to the couple as they love being on the water and have already made so many memories in Cambridge throughout the years! They chose to do their first look on a friend’s boat dock, wanting to incorporate the lake into their day as much as possible.

The color pallet was perfect for an outdoor lake wedding. Tones of blush, soft green and ivory felt like summer and made for soft, pretty images. The groom and groomsmen wore grey suits with navy ties, a perfect complement to the blush bridesmaid dresses.

There were so many sweet personal touches factored into the day. Emilie’s clutch was made from the fabric of her mom’s wedding dress and her cousin made their wedding invitations. Another special moment was when Emilie’s dad played the guitar and Michael’s brother played the keyboard and sang the couple’s first dance song! The groom’s mom even surprised everyone with a firework display during the hora dance!
