I’m so excited to share this fun and playful Milwaukee engagement session! Meridith and Ben currently live in South Carolina, but they met at and getting married in Milwaukee this summer so they wanted to have their engagement session here! The couple met at The Harp and had their first date at Water Street Brewery, so we decided it would be fun to incorporate both of those locations into their session. They wanted their photos to have a very Milwaukee feel, so we also used cream city brick as a background, shot along the Riverwalk and ended at Lakeshore State Park with the lake and skyline in the background. We even got to listen to live music from Summerfest while at the lake front!

I honestly don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much during an engagement session. It seemed like everyone in Milwaukee wanted to photobomb and congratulate them! Not only that, the Edelwiess docked while we were on the Riverwalk and the entire boatful of people cheered for them as they posed and kissed for portraits. So fun!! I think the only way we could have possibly made the session more Milwaukee is to have taken a photo with the Bronze Fonz.
